Cases Costa Brava Homes: The rectangular shape and smooth, flat plots of land enable the construction of the houses in the traditional style of a building between party walls. The houses meet all of the minimum requirements for habitation in line with functional policy for six people.
Full usage has been made of the space on the bottom floor with a garage for you to drive directly into off street Carrer Campo and park your car. Inside the house you have a kitchen, dining room-living room and a toilet, and the floor leads on to the back garden, with which it is level. The floor is 55cm above street level and stands 2.80 m high.
The staircase inside of the house runs up to the first floor, where you have three bedrooms and two bathrooms. With the exception of the toilet on the bottom floor and one of the bathrooms, which have been fitted with man-made ventilation, all of the rooms have windows and let in plenty of air and light. The height of this floor is 2.50 m.
This same staircase carries on up to the roof, on to which you may set foot. The floor itself houses a solarium alone and the space around it is not for resting or sleeping in.
The roof is tiled and fitted with a drainpipe for rainwater to run into. The tiles are decorated in white with a single layer of stucco and stone with a wavy finish. On the bottom floor there is treated wooden panelling for the door to the house and to the garage and the outer frames are made from lacquered aluminium.

In view of the non-regular shape and more rugged surface of the plots of land these houses called for an alternative type of construction. The aim for plenty of light to enter the houses on street Carrer Campo and heighten the visual impact between houses means they have had to be built on a slope and slightly below ground level therefore. The homes meet all of the minimum requirements for habitation in line with functional policy for six people.
The bottom floor, situated on the gradient of street Carrer Josep Nera, is where the entrance to the home stands and does so by way of a setback feature which lines up with the front of the other houses in the street, with a flat roof taking up part of the floor and housing a bedroom, a bathroom and a hallway with a staircase and rail coming down from it. The setback feature allows for the creation of a patio on floor -1 so that there are two ways of entering the floor and that there is no perception of being slightly below ground level. The rest of the floor, unoccupied by this section and therefore exterior, is flat terrain on which you can park your vehicle. This is covered by a wooden pergola. All of the rooms on this floor have windows for natural ventilation and daylight to flood in. These rooms measure 2.80m inside from the floor to the ceiling.
The inside staircase will take you to floor -1, where the main floor has been fitted with a kitchen and a dining area-living room. The walls of the kitchen and the dining room-living room correspond with the aforementioned garden and lower patio, which allows even more daylight and air to pour in, since you only have above one floor above. The outer staircase, made of metal, links floor -1 and floor -2 running from the living room down to the garden.
This same staircase to floor -2 provides access to the two bedrooms and two bathrooms. These two bathrooms have been fitted with man-made ventilation systems and the bedrooms face on to and lead to the garden outside. The two lower floors stand 2.50m high.
The faces of the house are stucco decorated in a single layer of white with stone and a wavy finish by the wall separating the house and the street. The front doors and the furnishing for protection from the sun on the bottom floor and on floor -2 are manufactured from treated wooden panels. The outer frames are made from lacquered aluminium.
